How the bus tour works

Especially on a first visit, it isn't easy to see Turin's highlights in a short time. With the City Sightseeing Hop-on Hop-off bus you get on wherever suits you and decide for yourself where to get off. The buses run daily, and all three routes start on Piazza Castello.

  • Ticket: valid for 24 or 48 hours, on all routes
  • Audio guide: German, English, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Chinese
  • On board: free Wi-Fi
  • App: the free "Sightseeing Experience" app shows you where the next bus is right now.
  • Children: up to age 4 ride free

This way you see the main sights without long walks and get background on the city along the way.

The three routes at a glance

All routes begin on Piazza Castello. The times are taken from City Sightseeing's official timetable for 1 October to 1 November 2026. According to the ticket provider, only the red route runs in winter (November to March).

The red route: city centre, museums and the banks of the Po

The red route is the classic tour. According to the provider, it runs through the city centre to the main museums and to the Valentino Park on the Po. The Borgo Medievale in the park is currently closed for renovation. It is the only route that runs all year round, and the bus comes every hour.

The blue and green routes go further out. Which stops they serve in the current season is shown on the current City Sightseeing route map. On the green route, plan around the two-hour frequency: if you get off, you'll wait that long for the next bus.
